30 years of professional experience in the field of industrial networks
For almost 30 years I was head of the Laboratory for Industrial Networks at the Bern University of Applied Sciences. This laboratory was recognized as a PROFIBUS and PROFINET competence center. In this laboratory hundreds of graduates have successfully completed the certificate tests for PROFIBUS and PROFINET.
For 22 years I was Chairman of the Regional PROFIBUS Association in Switzerland and coordinated the annual conference of the PROFIBUS and PROFINET competence centers operating worldwide.
During this time, the practical skills were tested and applied in measurement applications in industrial plants.

I retired in February 2020. I am happy to offer further enquires for consulting, trouble shooting or training - only without a certificate examination - as an individual company Felser Engineering within the scope of my available time as a pensioner and grandfather. A collection of information explaining PROFIBUS networks. An almost complete version of the available book. This version is older than the german one and should be updated (planned project).
Extensive collection of notes and instructions from the various courses, which unfortunately have not yet managed to reach a consistent level. One of the projects to be started now...
